Upton Methodist Church is located half way between the cities of Wakefield and Doncaster in the county of West Yorkshire.
You will find the history of the church here.
On Sunday at 10.30am our Service is led by either our minister Rev Naomi Kaiga, a local preacher, our worship leaders, or sometimes a combination of all three.  Occasionally visiting ministers lead the service.
Services vary in style and content but include prayers, bible readings, hymn singing and learning more about Jesus.
Our younger people go by the name Sunny Dudes.  Our whole church family begins worship together before separating into different groups.  The second Tuesday of most months sees us holding a Messy Church - from 4.00pm. We also have a holiday club each year running for three days mid August.
After each service we share drinks, biscuits and often a birthday cake; a time when we are able to catch up with the news, cares and concerns of each other.
We aim to make our building accessible to all. Facilities include a ramped access, level access throughout the building and an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities. We also have a Loop System (hearing aids to 'T' position) fed from the mixing desk.
Different Groups meet throughout the week.
Music is provided by Adrian, Sean, Bev, Jean and Roger who are appreciative of new musical abilities.
Come and join us. We are all different, our ages range from 0 to 90.  There may be someone here just like you.  A warm welcome awaits you.
